UnitedInternationalCollege(UIC)SituatedinZhuhai,BeijingNormalUniversity-HongKongBaptistUniversityUnitedInternationalCollege(UIC)wasjointlyfoundedbyBeijingNormalUniversityandHongKongBaptistUniversity(HKBU).Itisthefirstfull-scalecooperationinhighereducationbetweentheMainlandandHongKong.ItscharterhasbeenapprovedbytheMinistryofEducationwithfullsupportfromlocalauthorities.UICshouldersthehistoricalmissionofadvancingtheinternationalizationofChinesehighereducationandtakingtheleadinimplementingliberalartseducationinChina.Sinceitsfirstenrollmentin2005,UIChasgrownintoaninternationalinstitutionwithinnovativeeducationalapproaches.Twenty-threeundergraduateprogrammesarecurrentlybeingofferedbyfourdivisions:namely,theDivisionofBusinessandManagement,theDivisionofCultureandCreativity,theDivisionofHumanitiesandSocialSciences,andtheDivisionofScienceandTechnology.UIChasextendeditsenrollmentofCategory1candidatesfrom30provincesandmunicipalitiesinmainlandChina.Therearemorethan5000undergraduatestudentsnow,includingthosefromHongKongandoverseas.Teachingstafffrommorethan30countriesandregionsmakeitpossibleforUICtouseEnglishasthemediumofinstruction.GraduateswillbeawardedBachelor'sDegreesbyHKBUandGraduationCertificatesbyUIC.UICestablishedtheGraduateSchoolin2017andstartedtoofferPostgraduateProgrammes,includingTaughtMasterProgrammesinadditiontoResearchPostgraduateProgrammesthatleadtoMPhilorPhDdegrees.DegreecertificatesfromHKBUwillbeawardeduponcompletion.TheCollegenowinvitesapplicationsand/ornominationsforappointmenttothefollowingkeypositionswhichareexpectedtobefilledassoonaspossible:
